Yena Kim is a sophomore at Vista del Lago High School. She has had many leadership roles in her community such as treasurer and donations coordinator of bake a difference, a club that bakes goods for people in the community, while being a member of the key club. Outside of school she is a TA at a local Korean school and helps lead the children’s worship at her church. She is very passionate about fighting for equality for POC and hopes to teach people to stop normalizing racism against asians. She enjoys theatre and in the future hopes to have a career in entertainment while using her platform to speak up on social injustices.
