Idaho’s Hometown Hero Medal Nominees for 2013
A community in need…families hungry across Idaho….women & children suffering…a hero was there…AN AMERICAN HERO.
Idaho’s Hometown Hero Medal is all about honoring those who are actively making a difference across the great State of Idaho. This year’s nominees features a woman who was severely injured when stopping an assault on another woman (a stranger), an 83-year-old family physician who served as a medic in Germany during World War II and who delivered critical medical supplies to the Lakota community in South Dakota for eight years, a county commissioner who created and served on a mentoring program for “at-risk” boys and girls in our communities, and many, many more! In the video you will see all of the medal nominees for 2013. Please click here if you would like to read more about each of these amazing individuals.
